Week 2: Stat Leaders

Coaches are encouraged to submit stat leaders to MDHigh.com each week's game. The following is the list of Week 2 leaders, which will be updated throughout the weekend:
RUSHING LEADERS (125 yards minimum)

268, Tyrice Rock, Century. On 22 carries with three touchdowns and had two catches for 31 yards and a score as Century defeated Oakdale.
234, Isaiah Smith, South Hagerstown, Junior. Rushed for five touchdowns on 14 carries in a 47-0 win over Francis Scott Key.
180, Jess Powell, Middletown. On 18 carries with two touchdowns in a 35-6 win over Brunswick.
179, Carl Riffe, Huntingtown, Senior. On 16 carries with two touchdowns in a 49-6 win over Chopticon. Has 289 yards and four touchdowns in two games this season.
178, Wayne Long, Wilde Lake, Senior. Carried the ball 11 times with one touchdown in a 25-15 win over Centennial.
175, Joe Peaker, Perryville. On 25 carries with two touchdowns in a 30-10 win over Aberdeen. He also scored on a two-point conversion.
173, DeAndre Lane, Catonsville, Senior. On 25 carries with a touchdown and a two-point conversion in the Comets' 28-21 win over Perry Hall.
173, Kenshea McCraney, Aberdeen. With one touchdown on 17 carries in the loss to Perryville.
172, Trey Lee, Patuxent, Senior. On nine carries with two touchdowns in a 48-6 victory over South Carroll.
172, Darius Victor, Northwestern, Senior. On 17 carries with three touchdowns in a 28-10 victory over DuVal.
162, Donnie Neal, Reginald Lewis. Scored a school-record six touchdowns on only 10 carries during Lewis' 48-0 win over Benjamin Franklin (formerly known as Masonville Cove).
158, Terrence Caudle, Springbrook, Junior. Led the team to a 20-7 win over Gaithersburg on 29 carries and three touchdowns.
157, Jerel English, Frederick, Senior. Ran for one touchdown in a 20-14 win over North Hagerstown.
151, Lavon Chaney, South River, Senior. On 15 carries with two touchdowns in a 49-23 victory over Southern.
146, Luke Casey, Atholton, Senior. On eight carries, scoring two touchdowns, in a 28-25 victory over Reservoir.
139, Kapre Davis, Wicomico, Junior. Rushed for one touchdown on 13 carries in a 55-18 win over Parkside.
125, Marcus Smith, Meade. Scored three touchdown in Meade's 41-0 win over Annapolis.
PASSING LEADERS (200 yards minimum)
326, Connor Cox, South River, Senior. Completed 20 of 34 passes with five touchdowns as South River defeated Southern-AA 49-23.
317, Cooper Hibbs, Arundel. Passed for five touchdowns in Arundel's 55-0 win over Northeast-AA.
310, Deryk Kern, Westminster. Completed 18 of 28 passes with four touchdowns as Westminster defeated Urbana 35-21 in a battle of state-ranked programs.
305, Tim Brady, St. Frances, Senior. Completed 20 of 31 passes with four touchdowns in St. Frances' 57-27 win over St. Elizabeth (Del.).
285, Collin Nusbaum, Brunswick. Completed 29 of 47 passes for 285 yards in the loss to Middletown.
241, Spencer Coyle, St. Mary's-AA. Completed 14 of 36 passes with one touchdown in a 34-20 loss to Archbishop Spalding.
236, Matty Callahan, Northwest, Senior. Completed 20 of 39 passes with one touchdown in a 26-13 loss to Seneca Valley.
223, Luke Casey, Atholton, Senior. Threw for two touchdowns in a 28-25 victory over Reservoir.
213, Omar Walker, C.M. Wright. On 8 of 14 passing with a pair of touchdowns in C.M. Wright's 19-0 win over Patterson Mill. Walker also rushed for 32 yards.

149, Eric Young, South River. Caught three passes, all going for touchdowns, in South River's 49-23 win over Southern-AA.
148, Aaron Lewis-Cenales, Arundel. Hauled in a pair of touchdowns as Arundel handled Northeast-AA 55-0.
136, Collin Schultz, Clear Spring. On four receptions in a 21-19 loss to Saint James.
131, Garrett Bean, Westminster. On four receptions with a touchdown in Westminster's win over Urbana.
118, James Smith, South River, Junior. Made seven catches with two touchdowns in the win over Southern.
115, Liam Kelly, St. Mary's-AA. On just three catches in a 34-20 loss to Archbishop Spalding.
111, Kendall Fuller, Good Counsel, Senior. Caught three passes for 111 yards, including a 98-yarder that lifted Good Counsel to a 14-10 win over St. Joseph-Montvale (N.J.).
105, Laron Gross, Patuxent, Junior. Had three catches, two for touchdowns, in a 48-6 win over South Carroll.
102, Tyler Hall, C.M. Wright. Had three catches, one for a touchdown in C.M. Wright's victory over Patterson Mill.
DEFENSIVE LEADERS
Tyler Bussenius, C.M. Wright. Recorded a team-high 14 tackles during C.M. Wright's 19-0 win over Patterson Mill.
