Our rankings are seen by Division I, I-AA II, III, Junior College, and NAIA coaches throughout the country. Each player ranked has an bio on what they have accomplished at the prep level. The players below are listed in alphabetical order but are ranked within our Top 50 in the Class of 2016.

Keandre Jones | Good Counsel | Linebacker
Previous Ranking: #4
6-foot-3 | 210 pounds

Jones has continued to prove that he is one of the elite defenders within the Class of 2016. His playmaking skills are vital as Good Counsel looks to battle it out for WCAC title this fall.

Rahshaun Smith | St. Frances Academy | Defensive End
Previous Ranking: #1
6-foot-2 | 230 pounds

Smith is a dominating defensive end who has the size and speed to take over games on the defensive side of the football. This sophomore is working hard to put together a huge junior campaign this fall.

Shane Simmons | DeMatha | Defensive End
Previous Ranking: #3
6-foot-3 | 210 pounds

Schools across the country have thrown their hat into the ring for Simmons with offers as he has excelled on the defensive side of the football. As he adds weight to his frame and continues to dominate as an athlete, look for him to prove that he is one of the best players in the entire state.

Steven Smothers | Franklin | Wide Receiver
Previous Ranking: #5
5-foot-9 | 155 pounds

Franklin made more strides than expected and the end result was a run to the Class 3A championship. His athleticism has continued to help his list of offers grow and more will come the longer he stays undecided.


Top Five

Trevon Diggs | Wootton | Wide Receiver
Previous Ranking: #2
5-foot-11 | 165 pounds

Diggs really came on strong as a sophomore and took his game to another level for a Wooton team that put up some huge numbers offensively. There are few colleges who are not looking for the athleticism that he brings to the table.
