Maryland's Top 10 Football Players in 2015

Maryland Varsity has rated the top 100 football players in the Class of 2015, 1-100. Listed below is a free look at our top ten players in this class. If you want to see the entire 100 players, subscribe today and click here now!

Our rankings are seen by Division I, I-AA II, III, Junior College, and NAIA coaches throughout the country. Each player ranked has an bio on what they have accomplished at the prep level. The players below are listed in alphabetical order but are ranked within our Top 100 in the Class of 2015.

Top Ten

Adam McLean | Quince Orchard | Defensive End
Previous Ranking: #4
6-foot-2 | 275 pounds

Dominating defensive tackles who have size, strength, and good foot work are extremely sought after and that is what made McLean a sought after college recruit.  He could have waited out the recruiting process but felt his future was best at Penn State when he committed.

Darius Fullwood | Good Counsel | Defensive End
Previous Ranking: #3
6-foot-5 | 245 pounds

Fullwood has great size and the work he has been doing this off-season will show this fall with a huge senior season.  Kentucky has worked hard to open up a pipeline at Good Counsel and is excited what this senior can do heading into his college career.

David Sills | Eastern Christian Academy | Quarterback
Previous Ranking: #8
6-foot-3 | 180 pounds

Will Sills remains unsure about what his college future holds and a number of colleges have extended offers his way.  Where he eventually signs with will be one of the most interesting subplots to follow within the Class of 2015.

Isaiah Prince | Eleanor Roosevelt | Offensive Line
Previous Ranking: #9
6-foot-6 | 270 pounds

Prince dominated over the course of off-season camps and makes a major push up our rankings board.  He remains one of the most sought after offensive line targets in the country with a number of powerhouse programs lining up for him.

Jalen Christian | Damascus | Athlete
Previous Ranking: #5
5-foot-10 | 175 pounds

Christian put on a clinic during his junior season in which he proved to be one of the most valuable players within the state of Maryland.  His future coaches at South Carolina have loved what they have seen from him following a spring commitment.

Jonathan Holland | Bullis School | Defensive End
Previous Ranking: #11
6-foot-3 | 235 pounds

Holland saw a lot of options come his way on the recruiting front but Penn State offered him a wide range of things that other schools couldn't match.  He is working hard to a monster senior year with a talented team at Bullis.

Jordan Adams | Franklin | Athlete
Previous Ranking: #10
6-foot-1 | 160 pounds

Offers came from a wide range of locations across the country for Adams but a chance to play with his brother was hard to turn down at West Virginia.  Putting the recruiting process behind him has made life much easier for him.

Kai Locksley | Gilman School | Athlete
Previous Ranking: #1
6-foot-4 | 185 pounds

Locksley will be making a final college decision in the very near future and his future program will be getting a game changing athlete behind center who can put a lot of pressure on opponents with his abilities.  Will be stay close to home and play for his dad at Maryland?

Kamonte Carter | Gaithersburg | Athlete
Previous Ranking: #6
6-foot-4 | 230 pounds

Carter is one of the most unique athletes in the country with size, athleticism, and speed that he has consistently shown on the football field.  Penn State landed a gem with a commitment from this senior.

Pat Allen | Franklin | Offensive Lineman
Previous Ranking: #2
6-foot-4 | 265 pounds

Allen and his teammates head into the fall as the overwhelming favorites to repeat for the Class 3A state championship.  He has narrowed down the recruiting process with a number of elite schools still left on the board for him.
